The deadline to register for the Preston Hall Ski Bluewood trip has been extended to Friday, January 6th!
Preston Hall will be going on a ski trip to Bluewood on Thursday, January 19th. Thanks to the funds raised from the Halloween Walk-a-thon, this trip will be FREE for all students to attend. If you have any questions, please contact Heather Ball at hball@waitsburgsd.org.
Please register and sign the waiver online. The registration deadline is Friday, January 6th.

Ski/Snowboard Ability Levels
1 – Never Ever: You have never skied nor snowboarded before (or once or twice years ago)
2 – Beginner Objective: Make round turns on green slopes.
4 – Intermediate Objective: Make round turns on groomed black slopes.
5 – Advanced Objective: Make round turns on un-groomed slopes.
6 – Expert Objective: Make turns on moguls and/or in the trees.
Frequently Asked Questions
- “ I have my own gear, how do I sign up if I just need a lift ticket?”
- Sign up for “field trip lift & rental.” You will not need to fill out a rental form. Please let Miss Ball know that you will be taking your own gear.
- “ I have a season pass and my own gear, how do I sign up?”
- Let Miss Ball know that you will be attending. No online registration is required.
- “ I don’t want to go on the ski trip. What do I do?”
- We encourage everyone to take advantage of the free ski and snowboarding lessons. However, if you don’t want to attend, a parent or guardian will need to contact Preston Hall and let Eleanor know that you will be staying home. This will be an excused absence.
- “ I would like to chaperone the ski day, how can I help?”
