Alternative Bus Transportation Plans
With the shortage of certified bus drivers for the Waitsburg School District, there will be times when transportation services for students will need to be changed.
MORNING ROUTES:
· Should Pam Alexenko be unavailable to drive, Bus Route #3 will be cancelled. All riders will need to provide their own transportation to school.
· Should Katie Knighton be unavailable to drive, Bus Route #5 will be cancelled. All riders will need to provide their own transportation to school.
AFTERNOON ROUTES:
· Whenever Pam Alexenko is unavailable to drive, out of town riders on Bus Route #3 will be returned home by Mrs. Knighton or other school staff using district vehicles. In town riders and those on Hwy 124 need to have their own transportation home.
· Whenever Katie Knighton is unavailable to drive, out-of-town riders for Bus Route #5 will be returned home by Mrs. Alexenko or other school staff using district vehicles. In-town riders will need to find their own transportation to school.
Families of all bus riders will be notified via text or phone call of changes in transportation by the bus driver of their student(s)'s route at the earliest possible time.
