9th grade students and their parents are invited to the Waitsburg High School 9th Grade Orientation Open House and Ice Cream Social on Monday, August 29th at 7 PM.
We will enjoy ice cream & cover topics included:
- Introduction of staff
- Discuss High School Activities and Clubs (Homecoming/Prom/FFA/LEOs/NHS/Class Officers)
- Grading Policies and Grade Point Average
- DW Sports Information and schedules - https://dwsports.org
- Class Schedule and Bell Schedule
- Absence and Truancy Policies
- Building specific expectations
- Qmlativ – training/usernames/passwords (this is the program that provides parents and students with access to student grades and attendance)
School registration for all students grades K-12 begins August 23 - 25 from 8:00 - 3:00. Evening registration will be Wednesday, August 24 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. All students must register for the 2022-2023 school year even if they attended school last year.
