High school seniors and their parents are invited to join us for a Financial Aid Night on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5-6 PM, to get FAFSA information and help. Email Mrs. Hamann at khamann@waitsburgsd.org for more information.
Attention: Construction will be beginning for the lighted crosswalk installation. Tuesday and Wednesday this will be the used route for crossing Coppei. Students and staff will cross by the 6th street area until installation is complete. Thank you for your assistance with this.
Leo's Photography will be on site on Monday, Oct. 14, for picture retakes.
If your student already had their pictures taken and you were not satisfied, please send the entire portrait package to school on retake day and Leo's will re-photograph the student and replace the portraits.
If you missed the original picture day, this is your chance to have your student's picture taken.

Reminder: the first day of school is Tuesday, September 3rd.
With heavy hearts, Cardinals Nest Board announces the after-school program will not be operating our normal science/art program this year. Know this was a hard decision for our CN Board. Many factors were taken into consideration. We will reassess in Spring 2025 and, at that time, will determine if we are able to offer some pop-up sessions during spring and summer. CN has been blessed with unwavering support from the school, donors, community, and parents. We have been grateful for the opportunity to serve our community children for the past several years!
