Because Waitsburg School District used a snow day on Tuesday, February 16th, 2021, Group B will be in-person on Thursday, March 4th, all day. This will be a regular school day for Group B.
Waitsburg School District is running on time today, Friday, February 19, 2021.
The National Weather Service is predicting freezing rain/snow mix for our area beginning this afternoon and into the early evening. If the weather conditions deteriorate overnight and we have to make adjustments to our school day, we will send a notification of a delay or closure by 6:00 am.
**Changes to Meal Service Delivery for Waitsburg Schools**
Beginning Thursday, February 25th, we will no longer be providing home delivery of meals. Families wishing to continue receiving meals for students at home must preorder online and pick up the meals from school. Orders must be received no later than Wednesdays at 5:00 PM for pick up the following week. Meals can be picked up between 8:00-9:00 AM on Mondays or Thursdays.

UPDATE:
Due to adverse weather conditions, Waitsburg School District will now be CLOSED Tuesday, February 16, 2021. There will be no in-person or online instruction. All schools closed.
Based on current road and weather conditions and the anticipation of more precipitation later this afternoon/tonight, Waitsburg School District will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, February 16th, 2021.
There will be no morning Pre School.
Breakfast will not be served. Doors will open at 10:00 am with classes beginning at 10:30 am.
Due to hazardous road conditions - volleyball and football practices scheduled for Monday, February 15 are CANCELLED.

*NETWORK UPDATE*
Our school district network/server issues have been resolved and the internet is up and running again.
**NETWORK OUTAGE**
Waitsburg students and families: Our district is experiencing issues with our network this morning, which has caused an internet outage throughout the school district. While our district servers are down, staff and students will be unable to access the internet. Our IT service is working to resolve this issue. We will send an update as soon as services are restored. Thank you for your patience.
Report cards for 6th-12th grade students are now posted in the new FAMILY ACCESS - Qmlativ. (Formerly Skyward Family Access.) Parents and students can access the Qmlativ program just like Skyward. Use your same login and password. Click on the Qmlativ quick link button from the home page of our district website.
The Waitsburg School District will be operating on an in-person hybrid schedule beginning January 4th. 2021. This is the same hybrid schedule that the district operated on prior to Thanksgiving. Group A will attend in-person Mondays/Tuesdays while group B will attend in-person Thursdays/Fridays. Wednesdays will be designated for in-person targeted assistance and small groups.
